OUR STORY

Thoughts are abstract concepts that give rise to ideas and the ideas later lead to actions. If we want to control our unwanted actions, we must control our tongues as once we speak to them it is difficult to retrieve them, it's like an arrow that has left the bow. If one needs to speak the right words, then one should have the right words as no one can bring goodness from bad thoughts inside him.

People are motivated and boosted up with appreciation and not criticisms in life. We often think the reverse. It is often felt that criticisms can change people but no, it's not, they make people bitter and lead to enmity in life.

People who listen when they are corrected will live, but those who will not admit that they are wrong, are in danger. Kind words bring life, but cruel words crush your spirit. Kind words are like honey - sweet to the taste and good for your health. Kind words can cheer you up.

If you are sensible, you will control your temper, when someone wrongs you, it is a great virtue to ignore it. Sensible people always think before they act, but stupid people advertise their ignorance.

To have the knowledge, you must first have reverence for God. Listen to what is wise and try to understand it, look for it as you would look for gold or some hidden treasure. It is the Lord who gives wisdom, from him comes knowledge and understanding. Being wise is better than being strong; yes, knowledge is more important than strength. Your insight and understanding will protect you and prevent you from doing the wrong thing. They will keep you away from people who stir up trouble by what they say - so you must follow the example of good men and live a righteous life. Righteous men - men of integrity. Long life is the reward of the righteous; grey hair is a glorious crown. Never let go of loyalty and faithfulness. Tie them around your neck and write them on your heart. If you do this, both God and man will be pleased with you.

Wisdom is more valuable than jewels, nothing you could want can compare with it. Be wise enough not to wear yourself out trying to get rich. Your money can be gone in a flash as if it had grown wings and flown away like an eagle. Wisdom offers you long life as well as wealth and honor. It can make your life pleasant and lead you safely through it. Homes are built on the foundation of wisdom and understanding, where there is knowledge, the rooms are furnished with valuable beautiful things. If you can, do good to those who need it. Never tell your neighbor to wait till tomorrow if you can help him now.

Be careful how you think, your life is shaped by your thoughts. Never say anything that is not true. Have nothing to do with lies and misleading words. Look straight ahead with honest confidence, don't hang your head in shame.

Plan carefully what you do and whatever you do will turn out right. Avoid evil. Don't go one step off the right way. A person's wisdom is reflected in his actions and in the lives of people too. They gain appreciation and accolades in life. Trying to talk sense to a fool is like trying to stop an outrageous bull.

Someone sure of himself does not talk all the time. People who stay calm have real insight but if they have a hot temper, it shows how stupid they are. Peace of mind makes the body healthy. It is better to eat a dry crust of bread than to have a banquet in a house full of trouble. A gentle answer quietens anger but a harsh one stirs it up. After all, even a fool may be thought wise and intelligent if he stays quiet and keeps his mouth shut. 😊

I ask you, God, to let me have two things in life: keep me from lying, as we have to bear the consequences of lying, and the consequences are terrifying and horrifying. One is left with no shame when caught and secondly, let me be moderately rich. If I have more, I might say that I do not need you. But if I am poor, I might disgrace you by indulging in wrongdoings. Keep me out of the core luxuries of life so that I can always remain closer to you O God, for in you I find comfort and solace, in you, I get perfect happiness, happiness that stays longer...

There are seven things that the Lord hates and cannot tolerate:

A proud haughty look,

a lying fiery tongue,

hands that kill innocent people

a mind that thinks up wicked plans,

feet that hurry off to do evil,

a witness who tells one lie after another

and a man who stirs up trouble among friends. (Proverbs 6)
