Payment & Subscription Policy

Effective Date: 1st July, 2026

PAYMENT & SUBSCRIPTION POLICY

This Payment & Subscription Policy applies to paid newsletter/membership plans offered on Goodthoughts.in ("Website") is owned and operated by Mr. Sagar Keyur Shah ("we", "us", or "our"). It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy. By purchasing a subscription or membership, you agree to the terms below.

1. Membership Plans Offered

We may offer the following types of paid plans from time to time:

One-time payment plans, granting access for a fixed period or to a specific set of content, with no automatic renewal.

Recurring subscription plans (monthly and/or yearly), which automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled.

The specific plans, features, and pricing available at any given time will be listed on the Website at the point of purchase.

2. Pricing and Currency

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated, and are inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes (such as GST) as indicated at checkout. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time; price changes will not affect any billing cycle already paid for, and will apply from your next renewal, with advance notice provided where required by law.

3. Payment Processing

Payments are processed through a third-party payment gateway. We do not store your full card, UPI, or net-banking credentials on our servers; these are handled directly and securely by our payment processor in accordance with applicable Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines and industry security standards (such as PCI-DSS).

You confirm that any payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method used for the transaction.

4. Recurring (Auto-Renewing) Subscriptions

If you choose a recurring subscription plan:

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly, as selected) unless you cancel before the renewal date.

The renewal amount will be the prevailing price for the plan at the time of renewal, unless otherwise communicated to you in advance.

You will be notified before each auto-debit, in accordance with RBI rules on recurring/e-mandate payments, where applicable, with the option to cancel before the charge is made.

You may cancel your recurring subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us; cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will continue to have access until that date.

5. One-Time Payments

One-time payment plans grant access for the stated duration or content set as described at the time of purchase. These plans do not auto-renew, and you will need to manually repurchase access if you wish to continue after the access period ends.

6. Failed or Declined Payments

If a payment, including a recurring renewal charge, fails or is declined, we may suspend or restrict your access to paid content until payment is successfully completed. We may make limited retry attempts for failed recurring payments before treating the subscription as lapsed.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation of a subscription stops future billing but does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current or past billing cycles, except as described in our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy. Please refer to that policy for details on refund eligibility, timelines, and the process for requesting a refund.

8. Failed Cancellations Due to Technical Issues

If you experience a technical issue while trying to cancel your subscription, please contact us immediately at the email below; we will process your cancellation request manually and will not hold you liable for renewal charges that occur solely due to a verified technical failure on our part.

9. Changes to Plans and Features

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or update the features, pricing, or availability of any membership plan. Where such changes materially affect an active subscription, we will provide reasonable advance notice via email or on the Website.

10. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activity that occurs under your account, including any purchases or subscription changes made using your account.

11. Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact us first so we can investigate and resolve the issue before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension of your account.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Payment & Subscription Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective Date". Continued use of paid features after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
